The Coordination Framework, in its Periodic Meeting Attended by the PM, Discusses a Number of Priority Political and Legislative Issues
According to a statement from the Framework's media office, the attendees discussed the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Law and the importance of finalizing its legislation to regulate the PMF's operations and strengthen its role within state institutions. They also discussed several key laws, most notably the Oil and Gas Law, the Federal Court Law, and the Federal Council Law, all of which contribute to completing the constitutional and institutional framework of the state.
Regarding the government formation process, the Coordination Framework followed up on the ongoing dialogues, emphasizing the need to finalize the matter. It decided to proceed with nominating the remaining ministers to complete the government formation and enable it to carry out its duties.
The meeting also discussed organizating the internal work of the Coordination Framework, stressing the importance of establishing regulations and rules to govern work mechanisms and decision-making, thereby strengthening institutionalization and unity of position. /End
