Security Media Cell: Rockets Fall in Unpopulated Areas Far from Baghdad International Airport
Baghdad / NINA / - The Security Media Cell announced that rockets fell in unpopulated areas far from Baghdad International Airport.
In a statement, the Cell said: "At 8:20 PM this evening, a number of rockets were launched from inside a Kia vehicle in Abu Ghraib district, west of Baghdad. Several of these rockets fell in unpopulated areas far from Baghdad International Airport, without causing any casualties or significant material damage."
It added: "In a swift operation, our heroic security forces were able to seize the vehicle and the remaining rockets inside before they could be launched. The rockets were secured and handled by the specialized technical team. An immediate and urgent investigation has been opened into the incident to determine its circumstances." /End
