A Turkish Delegation Discusses Investment Opportunities in the Oil and Gas Sector with the Ministry of Oil
Baghdad / NINA / - The Ministry of Oil received a Turkish delegation, which included the Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad, Anil Bora İnan, and several businesspeople.
In a statement, the Ministry noted that the visit followed a recent trip to Turkey by the Minister of Oil, Basim Mohammed Khudair Al-Abadi.
The Ministry added that a meeting was held with the delegation—attended by the Deputy Minister for Extraction Affairs, Naseer Aziz, and several directors-general—during which the strengthening of relations with the Turkish side was discussed.
According to the statement, the delegation was briefed on investment opportunities available in Iraq’s oil and gas sector, as well as the potential for the participation of Turkish investment firms. / End
