Al-Halbousi Discusses With The Japanese Ambassador The Importance Of Strengthening Coordination And Communication Between The Two Legislative Institutions
Baghdad /NINA//- Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi met with Japanese Ambassador to Iraq Akira Endo to discuss the importance of strengthening coordination and communication between the two legislative bodies.
The Parliament's presidency stated in a press release: "During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed, along with ways to develop cooperation, particularly at the parliamentary level, and the importance of enhancing coordination and communication between the two legislative institutions."
It further explained that developments in regional and international affairs, as well as a number of issues of common interest, were also discussed. /End
