Tom Barrack: Talk of a "Greater Israel" is merely an illusion
Baghdad / NINA /- The U.S. Special Envoy to Iraq and Syria, Tom Barrack, denied on Thursday the existence of what is known as "Greater Israel," asserting that any talk about it is nothing more than an illusion.
In an interview with CNN, Barrack stated, "Talk of a 'Greater Israel' is merely an illusion—a narrative used by politicians in their conflicts with one another—and it has no basis in the political reality of the region."
He explained that "the October 7th attack intensified hardline rhetoric within Israel, prompting a reconsideration of its external borders. This is misguided; the nations of the region must resolve their regional disputes through diplomacy, regardless of who serves as Israel’s prime minister." /End
