Regarding the army's arming contracts, Al-Numan said that: "The directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and within the government program that has been in place for more than two years, the Iraqi government and relevant authorities seek to arm the security system with the latest technologies and technical equipment, and now we are only talking about weapons because modern warfare and the security system are also based on technical technologies in addition to weapons technologies, so the government supported the armed forces with the latest types of weapons and the sources of armament were diversified."
